Purpose: The American Institute of Bangladesh is a consortium of U.S. Institutions of Higher Education involved in research on Bangladesh, institutional development of educational institutions in Bangladesh, faculty exchanges, and sending U.S. graduate as well as undergraduate student to Bangladesh. Our mission is to improve the scholarly understanding of Bangladesh culture and society in the United States. By sending U.S. students and scholars to Bangladesh we also promote better understanding of U.S. culture and society in Bangladesh.
