**** AWARD Award Type: Fellowship Annual # of awards: 1 Duration: up to 2 months Date Effective: July 1 Purpose: This fellowship for Ph.D. candidates and post-doctoral scholars of American Indian heritage supports up to two months of residential research in any field in the humanities, using the collections of the Newberry Library, and provides a stipend of $1200 per month. Applicants for this fellowship need not be from outside the Chicago area.
