**** AWARD Award Type: Fellowship Annual # of awards: 1 Duration: 1 month Date Effective: July 1 Purpose: This one-month fellowship for Ph.D. candidates or post-doctoral scholars supports work in residence at the Newberry Library by a member of the South Central Modern Language Association with a $2000 stipend. SCMLA membership must be current at the time of application and through the period of the fellowship.
