**** AWARD Award Type: Fellowship Annual # of awards: 2 Duration: 2-3 months Date Effective: Summer Purpose: WARA will grant two post-doctoral fellowships for research in West Africa during the summer. These fellowships are open to persons already holding a Ph.D. who wish to conduct research for a 2 to 3-month period in order to: 1) complete or elaborate upon an earlier project 2) initiate a new research project 3) enhance their understanding of a particular topic in order to improve teaching effectiveness or broaden course offerings.
