Purpose: WARA will grant two post-doctoral fellowships for research in West Africa during the summer. These fellowships are open to persons already holding a Ph.D. who wish to conduct research for a 2 to 3-month period in order to: 1) complete or elaborate upon an earlier project 2) initiate a new research project 3) enhance their understanding of a particular topic in order to improve teaching effectiveness or broaden course offerings.

Nationality/Residency: U.S. citizen and U.S. permanent resident
Other Criteria: Applicants must currently hold a Postdoctorate degree and a teaching position at an institution of higher education in the United States or a position in another related domain (e.g. public health or museology).
