Procedure: In addition to the application form, applicants must furnish 3 letters of recommendation, a letter of nomination from the Dean of his or her school, a brief biographical statement, and a statement of purpose. **** ELIGIBILITY
Level of Study: graduate, doctorate, postdoctoral
Maximum Age: Preference is given to applicants under the age of 30.
Nationality/Residency: US Citizen
Other Criteria: Applicants must
• either register in a graduate program in Belgium
• or be working towards a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in the United States
• or hold a Master’s, Ph.D., or equivalent degree.
**** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
If the fellow chooses to remain less than the full 12 months, the stipend will be prorated accordingly. The fellowship period must be at least 6 months.
In addition to the stipend, the Foundation will provide health insurance. No other supplements can be expected.
Preference is given to applicants with a reading and speaking knowledge of Dutch, French, or German.
