Duration: 10 months
Purpose: Five months at the Albright and five months at one of the following schools: the American Center of Oriental Research in Amman, the Cyprus American Archaeological Research Institute in Nicosia, and the American School of Classical Studies at Athens. Room and half-board at the Albright is $4,050; and the remainder ($14,450) is the stipend which is intended to cover room and any board expenses at any one of the other three institutions as well as travel and incidental expenses. A doctoral dissertation research fellowship for students specializing in architecture, art history, archaeology and classical studies. Applicants must demonstrate the necessity of being resident at the Albright and at one of the other three institutions mentioned above in order to complete their research.
