Purpose: This fellowship allows doctorate students enrolled in an American university to do their research for their thesis in France for nine months. The grant allows exchanges between American universities and French universities.

Average Amount per Award: 1300 euros/month
Award Includes: Tuition, Travel Expenses, Health Insurance, Stipend
Award Also Includes: Research trips within France


**** APPLICATION INFORMATION
Deadline: December 31st
Notification Date: April
Procedure: Once applications are collected, they are evaluated by professors through out the U.S. and France. A jury meeting takes place in April and after the meeting, recipients are notified.

Level of Study: Doctorate
Maximum Age: No maximum age
Nationality/Residency: American or enrolled in an American university. French citizens may not apply
Other Criteria: Student must show a need to be in France for 9 months and have a professor in France willing to help them during their stay.
