**** AWARD Award Type: Grant Annual # of awards: 38 awards @ $1,000 ea. Duration: 1 year (May-June) Purpose: Designed to help support students as they seek knowledge and experience in their academic filds by studying outside the United States and to recognize and encourage academic achievement in all disciplines.

**** LOCATION Country: Any Country Fields of Study: All Fields of Study **** FINANCIAL DATA INFORMATION Average Amount per Award: $1,000 Total Amount to all Grantees: 38 Award Includes: unrestricted **** APPLICATION INFORMATION Deadline: February 18, 2008 Notification Date: March 22, 2008 Procedure: The grant is open to Phi Kappa Phi members as well as non-members in all all fields of study. Student must attend an institution with a Phi Kappa Phi chapter, have a cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 and have a minimum of 56 credit hrs and a max of 90 by February 15th. Study abroad program must commence in May and end in June of the following year. Applicants must submit a letter of acceptance into the study abroad program and have at least 2 remaining semesters remaining in the home institution after the completion of the study abroad program.
