**** AWARD Award Type: Scholarship Annual # of awards: 2 Duration: 1 semester, academic year Date Effective: January Purpose: BUTEX is pleased to offer two scholarships for students currently registered at an institution in the USA or Canada. To be eligible to apply you must have been offered a place as a study abroad or exchange student in a UK university which is a member of BUTEX (British Transatlantic Exchange Association).

**** LOCATION Institution: A BUTEX member Country: United Kingdom Fields of Study: All Fields of Study **** FINANCIAL DATA INFORMATION Average Amount per Award: £400 **** APPLICATION INFORMATION Deadline: September 1 Notification Date: October 15 Procedure: Applications can be made by downloading a form from the BUTEX website at www.butex.ac.uk supplying a 300 word statement indicating how you would benefit from the scholarship. Completed forms should be returned to:- BUTEX Secretariat c/o Study Abroad Office International Centre University of Leeds Leeds LS2 9JT Scholarships will only be awarded once the winner has supplied evidence that they have registered at the host university. **** ELIGIBILITY Level of Study: Undergraduate Nationality/Residency: Students studying in a U.S. or Canadian institution regardless of nationality.
