Award Type: Scholarship
Duration: Semester
Purpose: IES Merit-Based Scholarships are awarded for meritorious achievements in a variety of disciplines. Up to five scholarships are awarded for each of approximately 15 award types. Scholarships range up to $3,000 for semester and academic year programs. Only students attending IES study abroad programs are eligible. Deadline: April 1 (summer); May 1 (fall and academic year); Nov 1 (spring).
Procedure: To apply, submit a complete IES Merit-Based Scholarship application and all required attachments for the appropriate scholarship(s) to IES Chicago by the deadline. Applications are available by calling IES at 800.995.2300 or visiting www.IESabroad.org.


**** ELIGIBILITY
Level of Study: undergraduate, graduate
Other Criteria: Applicants must be accepted to and attend an IES program. Applicants must have a minimum 3.3 GPA out of 4.0. Applicants must attend an accredited college or university (students from IES Consortium schools are given priority) as an undergraduate.
