Award Type: Scholarship
Duration: Semester or Year
Purpose: The KCJS Governing Board has allocated funds to create the KCJS Student Scholarship to benefit participating students who demonstrate the most financial need. These awards vary with need and offer up to $3,500 for recipients attending the full year and $1,500 for recipients attending one semester. Japan Foundation Scholarships of similar amounts are also available for single semester and full year students who demonstrate the most financial need.

Procedure: Applications to apply for both these scholarships can be downloaded from this website as part of the application process. All students applying for KCJS and Japan Foundation scholarships are also required to apply for the Bridging Project and Freeman scholarships.
